What is Tikk?
Tikk is a modern event ticketing platform that allows organizers to create events, sell tickets online, and manage attendees securely. We handle the payments and technology so you can focus on the event.
Is Tikk free to use?
Creating an account and hosting free events is 100% free. For paid tickets, we charge a small service fee of 5% + ₦100 per ticket sold. You can choose to pass this fee on to the customer or absorb it yourself.
How do I reset my password?
Currently, Tikk uses passwordless sign-in via Google or direct login. If you need to reset your password, please contact tikk.help@gmail.com and we will assist you manually for security reasons.

For Organizers

How do I create an event?
Once logged in, go to your Dashboard and click the "Create Event" button in the top right corner. You will be guided through a 4-step wizard to set up details, images, tickets, and coupons.
How do I get paid?
We use Paystack for secure payments. You must add your Bank Details in the "Settings" tab of your dashboard. Once added, we create a dedicated subaccount for you. Payouts are processed automatically by Paystack to your bank account (usually within 24 hours of the transaction).
How do I verify tickets at the venue?
You can use the built-in QR Scanner in your Organizer Dashboard. Click the "Scan" button on your overview page. You can also create "Staff Accounts" for your ushers so they can scan tickets without accessing your financial data.
Can I create discount codes?
Yes! In the event creation (or edit) wizard, go to the "Coupons" step. You can create percentage-based (e.g., 10% off) or fixed-amount (e.g., ₦500 off) discount codes.
What happens if I cancel my event?
If you cancel an event, you are responsible for refunding ticket holders. Please contact our support team immediately to pause ticket sales and initiate the refund process via the payment processor.

For Attendees

I didn't receive my ticket email.
First, check your Spam/Junk folder. If it's not there, you can always download your ticket immediately after purchase from the success screen. If you closed that screen, please contact the event organizer or Tikk support with your payment receipt.
Can I get a refund?
Refund policies are set by the event organizer, not Tikk. Generally, tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled. Please check the event description for specific refund rules.
Do I need to print my ticket?
No! You can just show the QR code on your phone. We recommend taking a screenshot of the QR code just in case you have bad internet at the venue.
Is my payment secure?
Yes. All payments are processed by Paystack, one of Africa's most trusted payment gateways. Tikk does not store your card details.
